Had a truly delicious meal here this week. The specials both the grilled calamari and the grilled artichokes were cooked to perfection. We loved the pinsa and the steak. Drink list is solid and a beautiful back patio! Neighborhood gem no doubt. You can very much feel the quality in the food.

If I could have a party at Montesacro every year, I would! We had our brunch wedding here, and it was absolutely impeccable. Emanuele and his team provided incredible service from start to finish. Throughout the planning process, Emanuele was so responsive, helpful, and easy to work with, which made everything feel seamless. It’s been a week since our wedding, and our guests are still raving about the service, food, and drinks! We had so many guests with dietary restrictions and they were so accommodating. Montesacro gave us so much flexibility to truly make the space our own, and we never felt limited in bringing our vision to life. They made both the planning process and the wedding day feel unbelievably easy, which is something every couple hopes for. If any of my friends are looking for a restaurant wedding, I will always recommend Montesacro. We only toured one venue in NYC; we visited Montesacro, were instantly impressed, and never looked at another venue. Looking back, we’re so thankful we trusted our gut because it was absolutely the right decision. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate with our family and friends.

I was looking for an intimate place to be quiet from the busy hot day. It started with the ensalada with Cacio e Pepe dressing and a cocktail of Amaretto on the rocks. The Seabass was delicious with chickpeas and the house wine was crisp and right for the fish. Eggcream custard with rhubarb finished the beautiful meal and left me smiling. The service was excellent. I was a walk-in. It is better to make a reservation. I sat in the front with the door open for the breeze. From time to time the noise from the street wandered in with no real disruption. The price was expected and I happily paid. Enjoy!!!

If you’re looking for a beautiful and accommodating spot for a birthday brunch, lunch, or dinner, this is the perfect place. The restaurant features a fully enclosed back patio that resembles a charming greenhouse, creating a lovely atmosphere for a celebration. The service was fantastic from start to finish. They were able to accommodate our party of eight without requiring emails or a special reservation—I was able to book everything easily through OpenTable. The food was amazing and clearly made with very fresh ingredients. Our server was also incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the dishes and answer our questions, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and a great place to celebrate a special occasion.

Walked in on a Friday night and was seated immediately. The people after us were offered seats at the bar while they waited for a table, so I would say get there earlier if you don’t set a reservation. My friends and I ordered a bowl of cacio e pepe and each got a pizza to split. The casal bertone was everyone’s favorite! The perfect combo of flavors combined with that crispy guanciale (don’t let this scare you away if you’re not used to it) had us all wanting more. The infernetto was okay, nothing spectacular honestly but still good to me. A tougher sauce critic at the table rated it lower. We didn’t really enjoy the Tufello. It felt like it was missing something, so that one we didn’t finish. If you’re drinking, the Caligola was great and I could see myself ordering that every time. Our Arnold Palmer critic said “it was all Arnold and No Palmer…1/10”. Our waitress was kind enough to remove it from the bill. I would recommend this place to others. It’s a nice vibe inside for sure and overall you’ll enjoy the food
